As part of the government communication, the Minister of Basic Education gave this Friday, July 30, 2021 a press briefing on the assessment of the end of the 2020-2021 school year and the results of the test relating to the recruitment of teachers within the framework of the Support Program for the Reform of Education in Cameroon (PAREC).

The recruitment program implemented under loan agreement No. P62160 signed by the Government of Cameroon and the World Bank on 9 April 2019, aims to reduce the persistent deficit and inequitable distribution of teachers in public schools (with a very high hazard rate of 70% according to the RESEN 2020). It will extend over the period 2019-2026 and will ensure the recruitment of 18000 contract teachers.

In its communication, MINEDUB returned to the prior choice of a needy school and retention in the post, job posting and the regional selection option, the quest for objectivity and social justice and finally the conduct of the test.

The results of the 2020 recruitment test are available.
